Arizona Broadway Theater Review

I recently saw Singing in the Rain at Arizona Broadway Theater this Friday. The performance was outstanding and there was a lot of talent on that stage. The actor who played Don Lockwood had such an amazing vibrato and was able to keep up with all of the tireless dancing he performed in his many numbers especially with Cosmo Brown. The chemistry between the three leads was contagious and fit the mood of the original 1952 picture with Gene Kelly, Donald O’Conner, and Debbie Reynolds.

I thought that all of the actors had very appropriate voices for the time period with just a slight operatic training behind their upbeat tunes. The chorus did not appear many time throughout the show, but when they did it was always a lot of great fun and they had such great flexibility. The supporting characters stole the show at points and made the entertainment of the evening even more enjoyable.

The staff that waited on all of the tables was fantastic and were very attentive to their customers’ needs. I am definently going back to see Sunset Boulevard if I get the chance. Arizona Broadway Theater is a much see venue for great performances and excellent customer service. Also, some nights there is a cabaret style show after the performance where the audience can see the cast perform songs on a more intimate basis.
