According to the flier, there are over 1800 homeless Phoenix teens living on the streets. It has gotten extremely cold with the coming months and those teens would sure appreciate any warmth they can recieve in blankets or donated beanie caps. April & Victoria Collaboration: Be My Baby Dance

Victoria and April have learned the complete dance for Be My Baby. There were still parts we were uncertain of, but entered the Be My Baby contest hosted by the Wonder Girls for fun to spread awareness of the group in the United States. We did not win, but we appreciated that the Wonder Girls gave their fans the chance to fully express their enthusiasm for their new song. This was not posted earlier because we have both been busy lately with finals. Destiny was unable to participate in the contest, but she will be in the dance music video for Be My Baby in early August 2012!

Two Shows Coming Up!

We have two shows coming up for the month of December and January.

December 23 - Supporting Act at a Retirement Home Christmas Show performing with all 3 members in such songs as All I Want for Christmas is You, Santa Baby, Love Love Love, and Grown Up Christmas List

January 6 - 50 minute performance at Taiyou Con with a question and answer section, teach a small dance number, and a setlist including seven to ten songs. April and Victoria are confirmed to attend the event so far. Songs performed at the event will include Be My Baby and The Boys.

Destiny’s Directoral Debut

Dez-Air’s Destiny is having her debut as a director tonight with the performance of her first play. The play starts at 7:30 pm and April will be paying her a surprise visit. Maybe Victoria will make an appearance as well? ;P

The play has a one night engagement and only costs ticketbuyers $5 to benefit Destiny’s degree program on campus.

Talent Show Afterthoughts

Talent show went really well. There was some technical difficulties with the microphones and there were some really fun contestants. Victoria did especially good on her rap, April and Destiny were jealous she got to use the cool microphone. Anywho, we did not win, but that was not the main reason we did the talent show in the first place. We did the talent show to gain experience as a group and perform in public for the first time. All in all, it went really well and we hope to do another stage takeover very soon.

Video for the performance will be up in a few days. Also, look out for Dez-Air’s fourth single, The Boys, with b side of So Hot.

T-Swift Experience - April and Victoria Encounter 2011

April and Victoria went on an adventure yesterday of sorts. They went to the Taylor Swift concert! It was such an amazing experience with beautiful sets, amazing backup dancers, acrobatics, pointe, fiddles, balconies, and fireworks! Wow, did those Sparks Fly! We are uploading some footage from the show on our YouTube channel. You should check it out!

She did all of our favorites including Ours, Our Song, Love Story, and Dear John! She had a great setlist with songs from all of her albums. She was really breathtaking and so down to Earth! There were even guys dressed as bananas. They had some super decent seats too!

She even was right in front of us for a part of the show. It was really surreal. We had an opportunity to go down into the main floor of the stage, but decided against it or we would have been trampled. There was a lot of screaming as well and it was funny when Taylor would wait for the audience to scream whenever she was talking.

All in all, it was a great show and she can really sing live. <3 T-Swift, good luck on your last stop in Phoenix tonight! I know those people will have much fun as we did last night!

Talent Show Audition

Dez-Air has auditioned for their first public event together. It was really nerve racking and intimidating to go and be judged by one person. We had a lot of fun and grabbed a bit to eat afterward. We really love the song The Boys by SNSD. Victoria has had it stuck in her head while studying for her chemistry test tomorrow. Teehee. :D

Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Spread awareness for Breast Cancer by wearing pink on October 5th! It doesn’t matter where you are in the world, you can join! You can also wear purple in support of Relay for Life. Destiny's Play Worthy Schedule

Destiny has been in practices for a production of Romeo and Juliet at a local community theater. She plays an Ensemble member and is in the performances three days of the week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Her school schedule did not allow her to do Thursday nights. The play runs from August 19 until September 4. September 4 is incidentally Dez-Air’s second year anniversary. There is a preview performance on August 18.

Oh, Honey!

The fourth original music video covering Secret’s Oh, Honey! has been uploaded onto Dez-Air’s YouTube channel. Lyrics were written by April in her first composition and Brittani edited the video’s animation. Magic Girl’s dance has been learned and that version of that music video will be filmed next month and released in October. Shy Boy will continue to be choreographed.

Upcoming Projects

The Dez-Air girls have learned up to the first chorus of "Shy Boy" and have finished recording 2/3rd of the song. The only part left to record vocally is the last chorus. The dance is being broken down more slowly to accurately capture the time period of the song and express a more authentic feel to the piece as well. We are moving "Shy Boy'"s release to January of 2012 due to school commitments and work/volunteer duties. Please anticipate the music video for this song within the next six months.

Dez-Air has decided to concentrate less on music videos with the coming year and focus on our respective talents such as dancing and singing. Victoria will be choreographing and sharing some of her own original pieces to songs selected by herself. April and Destiny will do covers of popular American songs. All pieces belonging to Dez-Air will be uploaded onto our channel when they have been completed.

"Oh Honey!" will still be released this month with video editing done by Brittani. "Magic Girl" (Dance Version) will be filmed in September and released in October - November of 2011.

The later years of school are very important and we appreciate your support of us during this time period. We thoroughly enjoy doing things with Dez-Air. It has always been a lot of fun and quite a learning experience as well. We are able to live and grow as artists by working with one another over the last two years as a group.

Before the announcement of the track list for their third single, Dez-Air released their third music video with a new line-up: April, Destiny, & Victoria. Taylor left in 2011 due to scheduling conflicts with performances in musicals and school activities. Dez-Air is now a trio rather than a quartet as seen in the first two singles. This single shows Dez-Air branching out from the Wonder Girls to cover songs by artists such as Orange Caramel, a subgroup of After School, and Secret. Please enjoy this release after such a long period between singles.

2011 has brought back Dez-Air into the release scene with our third single. The fourth music video for the backing track, "Oh Honey!," should be released by mid August of this year. All vocals and recording for the music video were completed within a time span of two days. The video is currently in the editing room but, in the meantime, be sure to check out our third music video at our YouTube channel!

Oh Honey! & Third Single Tracklist Revealed

"Oh Honey!" will be the fourth music video released by Dez-Air. The line-up for the video is the same as Magic Girl with April, Destiny, and Victoria taking on a similar role within the song. "Oh Honey!" will be the offical b-side in Dez-Air's third single with "Magic Girl" acting as the title track for the release.

"Oh Honey!" was filmed and recorded within two days and the majority of the video has been edited as well. The official release date for the single will be July 23, 2011. The music video will be released in the middle of August.

"Shy Boy," "Saying I Love You," "Love Love Love," and "Starlight Moonlight" (a special duet track between April and Destiny) will all appear on Dez-Air's first album that will be released in September. The music video for "Shy Boy" will come out in October. "Oh Honey!" has been added to our song database on Soundclick and you are able to listen to the song before the single is released tomorrow.

Shy Boy - Destiny's Update :)

So, we're getting further in our recording for Shy Boy, which is awesome because I think this is just about the cutest song we've recorded yet. I can't wait to shoot the music video! As usual, we can get a little off track here and there but what do you get with three close girl friends? XD And, as an usual aspect, I actually got my part of the song down in one take! Maybe it's from all that warm-up laughter...lols.

Shy Boy - Victoria Update #1 & A Question Answered

We just spent the other day working on more of the dance for Shy Boy and we keep finding out just how easily distracted we can get XD We get it all done though, we just have WAY to much fun doin it ;) ~ Victoria

Question: What was your guys' favorite video to film?

Victoria's Answer: Hmmm, that’s a hard one! For me though I think 2 Different Tears was the most fun to film just because there were so many quirky scenes we got to film!

Magic Girl (Close-Up & Story Ver.) MV

The close-up and story version of Magic Girl has been uploaded onto Dez-Air’s YouTube channel. This is the first music video with the current line-up and the atmosphere feels different with three people. The girls will press forward and have already finished dance rehearsals for Magic Girl and have begun to chereograph Shy Boy. The full version of the music video should be released next month.

Shy Boy, Talent Show, & 2DT Revised

It's been quite a while since we have updated our blog. We have got a new layout going on. . .hey hey! We have posted three new videos to our YouTube channel since our last post in February. Quite a while ago. First, Dez-Air members April, Destiny, and Victoria have covered Secret's Shy Boy with English lyrics by WorldWideMusicMiss or Ren. Her version of the song can be viewed by visiting this link. This cover of the song is dedicated to Ren for all her hard work in constantly putting out vocal covers to popular Korean songs on a frequent basis.



Lead vocals in the song are shared between April and Destiny with Victoria taking on the rap and cheerleading section in the beginning. A music video for this song should appear somewhere between July-September and Magic Girl's music video will be on our channel by July at the latest. Dance rehearsals for Magic Girl are nearly complete and we have decided to go with a simple concept for the music video. Shy Boy will have a more artistic concept with a storyline included as well. Both music videos will feature dancing.

The line-up for Dez-Air has been finalized to include April acting as Leader, Destiny acting as Sub-Leader, and Victoria for the remainder of 2011 and into the spring of 2012.

April won a talent show recently with her rendition of the song "Can't Help Lovin' that Man" from the 1927 musical, Show Boat. She won a prize as well for her entry.



All members of Dez-Air have finished school for the spring semester and only April and Destiny are taking summer courses to finish up their degrees sooner.

Brittani re-edited the music video for 2 Different Tears and it has been uploaded onto our channel. The old version of the video has been taken off the channel and replaced with the new one. Please enjoy and check back for more updates on the group's progress with our 2 music videos this summer and plans to create an original song!

I Heart Life Episode 3 Released!

I Heart Life was on a hiatus for December and January due to winter break, school, and reuniting with Destiny. Please enjoy Destiny's first appearance with the group, where she and Victoria enjoy the smells of perfume samples. Victoria goes on to show the proper application of the perfume. . .on her neck and April makes a brief appearance before she runs for it with Destiny.

Saying I Love You - Special Valentine's Release

Valentine's Day is the epitomy of lovers: to determine if a relationship will flourish or die after this infamous holiday. A day where you are supposed to tell the one you love, "I love you." These three words may sound insignifigant or cliche but in a personal context, they take on a world of their own.

This holiday does not just celebrate the love of your signifigant other, but friends and family. The life and blood of any person's life, I should hope. Love can take on any form and it is important to celebrate them all.

Dez-Air presents "Saying I Love You" originally by the Wonder Girls with lyrics by JeAnn Ehriel. The last appearance by Lina and Carmen in a single. They graduated a few months ago and we wish them the best in the future. Please enjoy this release! We enjoyed making it for you.



April, Destiny, and Victoria are now the stable line-up of Dez-Air with Taylor planning to return for an activity this summer. In the meantime, this line-up will be representing the group name.

Magic Girl Cover Released!

The title track for Dez-Air's third single, Magic Girl, was released on January 17, 2011 on YouTube. The music video will be released in April or May 2011. The b-side track has been confirmed to be Shy Boy and will also have a music video. The music video for Shy Boy will be similar to Magic Girl.

April, Destiny, and Victoria are the confirmed line-up for this single. Taylor is on hiatus due to school activities and musicals. She will re-join the group during the summer. This is Destiny's first activity with the group since her internship in Florida. Welcome back, Destiny!
